Back to the nitty gritty...
Our enrollment process begins when you schedule an appointment with the Admissions Representative. Please call us 916.929.4242 ex. 212 to participate in an Open Forum or schedule a personal appointment. Once you have met with the Admissions Representative, the following admissions materials need to be submitted:
- Enrollment Application
- Aptitude Entrance Exam
- Proof of Identification:
- Social Security Card (must be signed)
- Current Driver's License or Valid Picture ID
- Proof that you completed the high school education requirements with one or more of the following:
- High School Diploma
- High School transcript sealed original envelope
- GED
- Wonderlic/Ability to Benefit passing score
- Alien Documentation (Green Card, Permanent Residency Card, etc.). ALL documentation must be received before a Financial Aid appointment will be given
- Meet with the Financial Aid Officer to apply for financial aid to determine which financial aid programs are available to students based on income/family size/etc.
*An official transcript must be brought in the original sealed envelope.
You are responsible for meeting enrollment requirements so please read all materials carefully, provide all requested paperwork, and attend all scheduled appointments. If you are unable to keep any scheduled appointment, you need to call us in advance to reschedule.
Once you have met with the financial advisor, you may pay the registration fees to hold their space in the program.
This deposit does not guarantee acceptance for enrollment, but it holds a space in an available class until you are accepted for enrollment.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
If you are transferring from another beauty college we will need:
- All necessary items for Admissions
- Completed Transfer Student Form
- Provide Proof of Training documentation from previous training school
REGISTRATION
- To register for a class start date, we require a deposit of $540.00
- This payment includes the $20.00 credit check fee and $20.00 locker deposit
- Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, money order, bank check, and credit cards (except American Express)
- You will be notified of your enrollment status within 24 hours of your Financial Appointment
- After a review of your file, you may be requested to attend a mandatory interview with a member of the administrative department. This meeting is to determine if enrollment at Federico Beauty Institute is the ideal fit for their career path
- Once the enrollment process is completed, you will be notified of your acceptance status within 24 hours
- If you are accepted, we will then process your check or credit card deposit
- If you are required to attend a one-on-one interview, your deposit will be held until an outcome is determined
- If it is determined that Federico Beauty Institute is not the best fit, your deposit will be refunded in full
- Once accepted for enrollment and your initial deposit has been processed, you will be assigned a mandatory orientation date
- You must attend an orientation before their first day of class
- Prior to your assigned orientation date, you will be scheduled an appointment to finalize financial aid, sign the enrollment contract and receive a student handbook
